The Emollients

Apricot Kernel Oil - rich in essential oils and vitamins apricot kernel oil has become synonymous with skin moisturisation.

Shea Butter - is a nutty cream harvested from the kennels of the African, " Tree of Youth", (Butyrospermum parkii). It is rich in omega 6 and omega 3 oils, vitamins A, B5, and E.

Silane C - European Patent Holder

1. Tissue culture study that showed old skin fibroblasts grew faster when treated with Silane C. - Indicating that Silane C has a regenerating effect on skin cells.
2. Cutaneous scar formation test - Silane C inhibited the formation of a scar pad in the skin. Indicating that Silane C (1) effects the direction in which collagen and elastin fibers are arranged in injured skin (2) has anti-ageing activity.
3. Stretch Mark prevention trial - 86% of the women in the trial had no stretch marks form during and after their pregnancy.

Centella Asiatica

Trials conducted by International University's and Medicine Faculties and reported in peer review journals.

• In Vitro - Three separate tissue culture studies have shown that Centella asiatica stimulates human fibroblast cells to produce collagen at a statistically higher level than untreated controls.
• In Vivo - wound repair models - three separate studies in 1999 found that wounds treated with a Centella asiatica healed faster, had increased tensile strength and more collagen. The collagen matured faster with more stable cross-links and therefore was less likely to be removed by endogenous enzymes.
• Other studies over the last 30 years and historical epidemiological evidence demonstrate its use and efficacy for treating Leprosy lesions and ulcers. In 1966, a French Hospital carried out a placebo controlled study examining the use of a Centella asiatica based gynecological cream for speeding the repair of episiotomy wounds. This study showed that the Centella based cream was more effective that any other available treatment.
